Lisa has worked in media adverting for over 25 years ranging from local papers such as the LEP and the Chorley Guardian, to regional magazines.
Lisa joined Local Life in June 2014 where is now Sales Manager for the Chorley & West Lancashire areas. She lives in Euxton with son Thomas and Border Collie Chester. Lisa loves being out and about, and also enjoys shopping, watching TV, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

A new business has opened in Standish this week, transforming a formerly disused shop in the village centre.![]()
Gibson Plumbing and Heating has taken over the former opticians on the corner of Pole Street and Preston Road, which was vacant for several years. ![]()
Gibson Plumbing moved from a nearby unit on Preston Road last year and opened a HQ in Wigan but say they wanted to retain a presence in Standish.![]()
The company says: “We closed the previous shop early 2024 for a larger showroom in Wigan town centre but we want to be part of the community here in Standish.”![]()
The firm will offer repairs, bathroom refits, emergency callouts and underfloor heating.![]()
