Open Sunday – A Springtime Stroll
Join us for a free guided springtime walk at 1pm to parts of the reserve not normally open to the public. Cabin Wood will be open, Cabin cafe open for refreshments. Please wear suitable footwear as the paths can be muddy. Dogs on leads welcome.

The New Cross singers will perform Stainers Crucifixion at Ormskirk Street United Reformed Church, King St, St Helens. WA10 2JZ. Palm Sunday 5th April 6.30pm. NO ENTRANCE FEE, a retiring collection will be taken. Come and experience in word, music and picture the last hours of Jesus' life.

Botanic Gardens Easter Extravaganza
Come and meet the Easter Rabbit with a free Easter Egg Trail. Stalls, donkey rides, crafts, hit the can and much more and all in the beautiful Botanic Gardens, Southport. Visit the award winning Fernery and stroll through the lovely RHS Gold Winning gardens. Visit the aviary and feed the ducks!
WLFG and Canal and Countryside walks
Sunday 12th April,from Aughton Village Hall , Winifred Lane , L39 5DH a 5 -6 mile walk from Michael Smout's book," Walks in West Lancashire." The paths were inaccessible, but have now been cleared, so this will be a celebration and remembrance of Michael .
