Remembrance Banquet
An evening of music and dinner to celebrate our troops. The St. Helens Brass Band will play on arrival, and a 3 course dinner will be served. Rainhill Beer Festival
The 16th beer festival features new brewers and beers for 2018. The Rotary Club of Rainhill invites you to sample new beers and ciders, and try a tipple at the prosecco bar. For more information, head to http://www.rainhillbeerfest.org/.
Charity Ladies’ Lunch & Fashion Show
Barbara’s of Standish host a fashion show and ladies’ lunch to raise money for State of Mind. Includes vocalist and MC Josh Adams and special guest soprano Jan Monroe. Tickets £36 including 3-course meal and wine on arrival.
Gin Festival
The Absolutely Fabulous Gin Festival heads to St. Helens with over 80 different gins plus live entertainment. Food available from the Mayur Indian Restaurant. Tickets £12.50, includes gin Copa glass and welcome drink. VIP area tickets £50. Saturday sessions run from 12pm-5pm and 6pm-11:30pm.
Christmas Coffee Afternoon
Come down for a festive afternoon of coffee and refreshments, with a hamper raffle to be won! Entry £5 including a raffle ticket.
Burns Night Dinner
Wigan Thistle Society present a Burns Night Dinner of traditional Scottish food, followed by speakers and plenty of dancing. Everyone welcome – tickets £24 or £16 for under-16s, bookable by calling Margaret on 01942 247403.
Burns Night Celebration
Enjoy a welcome drink, Scotch broth, haggis with neeps and tatties, cranachan and whiskey toast. The bar is open from 5pm and kilts are very welcome. £15 per person, bookable at www.wellbeingwigan.co.uk.

The Boys Brigade and Girls Association entertain everyone with their take on Burns night. Enjoy a 3 course supper including traditional haggis.
Valentine’s Drip Cake Class
Level, fill and cover your cake in buttercream using colours and flavours of your choice, and decorate them with coloured drip, chocolates, sprinkles and truffles! £60 per person, all ingredients and equipment provided, head to the Little Cottage Cakery’s Facebook page to book.
Mayor’s Charity Ball
