SUMMARY:Wigan Canal History Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free guided walk along the beautiful Wigan Flight! \nStarting at Wigan Dry Dock\, with free parking available at Trencherfield Mill (by the big industrial fan)\, we’ll walk up to Top Lock led by two knowledgable lock keepers\, and then return to our starting point. \nIt’s a leisurely walk of 4.5 miles in total. Wear stout shoes\, and waterproofs in case of rain\, and bring a drink and bite to eat if you like. Dogs on a lead are welcome.
